Landscaping Unlimited has been installing seed lawns on Long Island
for 39 years.
We have it down to an exact science.
We understand that every area is different and has it's own
requirements for successful lawn growth.
The photos illustrated on this page are of a seed lawn we installed
three weeks prior to the dates on the photos.
When we first looked at the area it was covered with weeds grab
grass and the surface soil was white beech sand.
The entire yard area was full of pot holes and rut marks from over
twenty years of neglect.
We went in first with a Bob cat and fine graded the area, then trucked
in fine screened black top soil and re graded the area.
After carefully raking the area we installed the seed.
With a little help from nature the results speak for them self.
From a unsightly and unusable sand pit that even the family Dog was
fearful to venture into, to a plush green healthy lawn in less than
thirty days.
